Kaustav Chatterjee was born in 1997 in Hooghly, West Bengal. Presently he is studying Master in Painting from the Department of Fine Arts, S. N. School of Arts and Communication, Central University of Hyderabad, Telangana. He holds a Bachelor degree from Department of Painting, College of Art and Design, University of Burdwan, West Bengal. His artistic expressions encompass sociopolitical histories that include human relationships and experiences emanating from displacement and loss. He was a recipient of Kokuyo Camlin Annual Zonal Award, 2019. He has also attended many national and international seminars and also presented a paper ‘Guler: AGenealogical Continuation in Pahari Miniature’.
