Sachida Nagdev was an Indian painter, born in 1939 in Bhopal. Nagdev started painting at the age of 9 on signboards and billboards. He studied fine arts at the Bharati Kala Bhavan, Ujjain under the guidance of Dr. V. S. Wakankar, a renowned archaeologist and artist. He then went on to study art from Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai in 1961 and obtained a degree in painting from Vikram University, Ujjain. Nagdev has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in India, Nepal, Germany, Japan and the UAE. His works are in the collections of leading galleries of India and abroad.
