Varnita Sethi is a contemporary Indian artist and her uniqueness lies in her ability to express herself on various subjects through diverse media. Born in 1987, her works are strong yet experimental, and most definitely non-homogeneous. Her art practice is not restricted to any art-form or technique. It includes, according to the need and ‘nature’ of the subject undertaken; painting, photography, sculpture, drawing, sewing, installation and digital collage.

She has been actively participating in shows in India and abroad. Her works are in collections with some of the known galleries like Dhoomimal Gallery, National Gallery of Modern Art, Artdemic and NIV Art Center.

She was also a part of the Artist Teaching Residency programme by Artreach India 2018-19. The Programme was supported by Kiran Nadar Museum of Art. Recently, GUCCI published her artwork in their 4th zine edition “chime zine” 2021.

She lives in Gurugram and works out of Delhi.
