Description

Rajni Dhanewar is an award winning Indian abstract artist. Her style resonates formless figures and sublime hues. She has exhibited in many parts of the country like Mumbai, Hyderabad, New Delhi and Bhopal. She seems to talk through the lyricism in her art and express through the eternity and entropy of her strokes. Born in the year 1981, Rajni’s lines and colours have their own atheist existence independent of any conscious purpose.

Her images seem to be unmindful of the natural life around; their roots are very much in nature though. In passing they look tousled, but as we participate in their aesthetics, our eyes start following their lyricism. Another aspect of these paintings that fetches our attention is their assembly, which is nothing but a spontaneous, subliminal swarm of colours. Her artworks neither have a structure and nor it is utilitarian in its own.

The artist lives in Bhopal with her artist husband.
