Description
Jai Zharotia was born in 1945. In his works we could see the dichotomous relationship between the visible and the invisible, the apparent and the elusive, the conscious and the unconscious. In almost all of his works, we see a clown-like figure that can repeatedly be seen with a cap that resembles a dunce cap. According to the artist, this clown-like figure depicts a common man in this world playing many parts and characters.
