Description

A calm and composed Delhi artist with an infectious smile that very modestly hides all the awards and acclamations he has accumulated for himself. Born on 6th June, 1968 in Delhi and continues to live in the city where he established himself as a contemporary artist. His artworks have been part of several group and solo shows in India and abroad. His expertise challenges the large canvases that delve deep into explaining the real human existence. The amalgamation of the colours and its countless tones, gives the rivers, hills, vegetation its own vocabulary in his landscape formations. His impressionistic works enlightens and creates curiosity to understand and relate with his language of expression. The innovative technique which the artist uses by adding layers after layers of paint gradually builds the essence of the artwork. He keeps reducing the colours, the lines and the forms until one is left with bare minimal, just enough to consume the work with the meditations and genius of his paint brush.

At the India Art Fair 2014, the Dhoomimal Gallery showcased his works, for the very first time - a contemporary Indian artist working with abstraction was exhibited to promote his artworks at such an event of International standard. His works have been part of several collectors in India and internationally too. One is reminded of the mesmerizing beauties of nature, unbound, mysterious and pulsating with cosmic energy.
