Om Prakash Sharma:
Born in 1932 in Bawal, Haryana, Om Prakash Sharma is a modernist who did post-graduation in Fine Arts at Columbia University in 1966. Sharma is known to have painted several abstract paintings in his career, experimenting with Neo-Tantric art movement of the 1960’s and creating a series of ragamala paintings based on the eponymous theme. Sharma passed away on 18th July 2019.
