Haren Das:
Born as Harendra Narayan Das on 1st February, 1921, Dinajpur Bengal. Das followed a tradition of wood engraving that developed in the bazaars of north Calcutta in the mid-19th century. Haren Das has given his life in printmaking. His prolific makings portrayed the everyday life of rural Bengal.
