Description

Gogi Saroj Pal did Diploma in Painting from the Government College of Arts and Crafts in Lucknow and Post Graduation in painting from the College of Art, Delhi. Born in 1945, Neoli, Uttar Pradesh, India. An eminent artist she taught at College of Art and Jamia Millia Islamia. The expressions in her artworks are based on her personal experience. Themes like Human Landscape, Kamadhenu, Mother and Child, Naika, Prisoners, Eternal Bird, Dancing Horse, Kumari, and Paper boats—all visions of dreams—have inspired her creative mind to provide the visual imagery.
