Paramjit Singh, a distinguished contemporary artist known for his vivid style captured in figurative and abstract works with several vibrant colour palette and soft forms of shrubs, fields, rugged hills, boulders, trees and the sky. His mystical panoramic view of landscapes painted with thick oil paints engaging in the minute detailing of the grass and the leaves, leaving the viewers mesmerised. He was born in the year 1935, in Amritsar, India and presently lives in New Delhi with his artist wife Arpita Singh.

One finds solace in Singh’s significant works which encompasses the aesthetics of art which are far from the urban doldrums. His works have been part of several exhibitions in India and abroad.
