Rameshwar Singh (b. 1946) earned his M.A. in drawing and painting from Udaipur University in 1982. His carefully constructed compositions are deeply rooted in the rich art traditions of Rajasthan, while drawing primary inspiration from ancient scriptures and classical architecture. Within these structured spaces, Singh seamlessly integrates figures, forms, and mythological content. Notably, his work profusely incorporates diverse textual scripts—including Arabic, Persian, Urdu, and English—weaving written language directly into his visual narratives.
